The Waterpassion kite school is based in Hotel Alegría, a friendly family-run hotel located on a perfect spot on Cabarete Bay for advanced kiters to shore launch and for beginners to learn kiting easily and safely with our approach. With a location on the upwind end of Cabarete Bay our students can enjoy an unsurpassed downwind run with the IKO instructor accompanying them in the boat and returning them by boat to Hotel Alegría at the end of run. Our students avoid the hazardous kite congestion that beginners face when launching from Kite Beach at the downwind end of Cabarete Bay. Waterpassion offers lessons by licensed instructors from IKO (International Kiteboarding Organisation). We have instructors for teaching in several languages like English, German, Spanish, Italian and French. For advanced Kiters we also offer private lessons to improve their skills and to learn new tricks. For rentals we offer the whole range of the newest Bow Kites from RRD Roberto Ricci Design, Star-Kites and Boards from Nobile.

Even in Cabarete there can be days that are not suitable for kiteboarding. On such days Waterpassion will arrange alternative activities of your choice, such as scuba diving and quad or off-road motorcycle tours, in lieu of your scheduled kiting lesson or reschedule your lesson.

The director and principal instructor of the school, Giuseppe Fabbri, has years of experience as an IKO certified instructor teaching in Europe, Latin America, and Egypt.
